Class 5A

1. Bowling Green at Grayson County (9/29)

2. Covington Catholic -- OPEN

3. Christian County vs. #9 Owensboro

4. Greenwood vs. Barren County

5. Fern Creek vs. Southern (9/29)

6. Pulaski County at 6A Henry Clay

7. Southwestern -- OPEN

8. South Oldham vs. Nelson County

9. Owensboro at #3 Christian County

10. Highlands -- OPEN

No surprises at the top with Bowling Green. Covington Catholic keeps moving up, Highlands keeps moving down, where will then end up? Big match-up with #3 Christian County and #9 Owensboro, who wins? What will the Top 10 look at after this week?

Highlands has been hot then cold. When they are on their game they are a solid number 3 behind Cov Cath. Number 2 once they beat them in a few weeks

How close are Madison Southern and Dixie?

How close are Madison Southern and Dixie?

With their remaining schedules, Dixie could certainly work their way into the top 10. It would be a little harder for Madison Southern to do so in my opinion, as their only real test comes during the last week of the regular season against rival Madison Central.

At beginning of season I predicted Bowling Green would have 9 running clocks in regular season. A few didnt like my boldness. Again, its only a guess. I may or may not be right.

It would be an interesting study to see how many running clocks a team has had in previous years.

I think there is a chance BG gets 14 out of 15 running clocks this season. If not, it will be very close.
