I didn't say Male and Mater Dei were on the same level but both are on a consistent bases better then OHS and Meade Co. I can put OCath and the University of Louisville in the same sentence and say that both are better than Butler Co without putting them on the same level. Don't come on here and try to talk logistics about my post. I'll give you a pass on this one though because you probably misunderstood my post.

I suspect the Catholic-Apollo game will be closer than many expect ... somewhere in the 21-20 range, maybe? I won't be surprised if the Aces win. Apollo hasn't exactly beaten two heavyweights in the first two weeks.

I hope you are right but I just can't see OCath overcoming all of their shortcomings from the past two weeks.

Catholic has played much stronger opponents than Apollo has, which I would think helps the Aces' chances.

Evansville Mater Dei? If you think their at Male's level, your are about 35-45 points off most years.
I don't know that it's quite that much, but clearly Male is stronger year-in and year-out.

Given Male's defensive scheme, it would be interesting to see how it would have fared against Mater Dei's passing attack in recent years.

I would guess he isn't that far off. Maybe not 35-45 points but a good deal better.

I'm thinking more in the 28-point neighborhood.

That sounds about right. I was thinking in the 28-35 range. I would have to say though when Male is at their best it would be in the 40-50 range.

North 48-20 ... that's why they play the games.

What is that Meade Score based on? The game is at Meade Co. ? Meade is a good football team on the edge of being great. Also Meade scrimaged Daviess Co and they are not very good at all Meade could have scored 10 tds on them but only scored 7 Henderson if they are anything of the past should win 56-0.
Apparently he knew what he was talking about.

Good on the edge of great? Rafterman's pick certainly was.

I saw last years team what has changed with Owensboro? You have a few guys that have some speed but nothing like Meade has seen already.
I guess the Red Devils had something Meade hadn't seen already.
