I didn't have a good view of it, but everybody that was standing in that end zone claimed that LC QB Isaac Kelly crossed the goal line with under a minute left and then dropped the ball. Powell jumped on it and it was ruled a touchback. Powell regained possession with under a minute left and kneeled it out to end the game.

Thanks for the info. It will be interesting to read the quotes in the paper tomorrow.

I'm now hearing that even the official said that he crossed the goal line and then fumbled. Which means he just didn't know the rule. If that's the case and I hope it isn't, that is just inexcusable.

Regardless of the outcome, I'm very proud of the Lewis County Football Lions. We played 4 quarters of everything we had. Effort like that is often overshadowed by the final score. Hats off to Powell County on a hard fought game. Both teams played hard. Absolutely hate to lose, but there is no fault in our effort or the hard work we've put in. Back to work Monday. #RollPride
