The location is determined by which venue/site offers the best bid with the KHSAA to host. The last time the KHSAA opened up the bidding, WKU was the ONLY site that even sent in a bid. U of L and UK didn't even make an offer to host.

 

The current contract that was awarded to WKU runs through the 2018 season, so it will be at WKU for this season and two more at least.

if they are going to play on Sunday, they should move the times up in the day. For me its about a 5 hour drive home, so a 6 central kick gets you out of the stadium by 9 maybe then 5 hours back home makes for a long night
