He has walked in 10 straight and has a hit in 10 straight.

Bruce hit another HR last night.

4 straight games for Bruce. Duvall with 2 HRs. Votto also had one.

Man, Reed can't catch a break.

True, but he has to learn to pitch ahead in the count instead of getting behind 2-0 and pumping a fastball right down the middle. Hitters become much better. The most important pitch a pitcher has is a first pitch strike.

Yeah. You see so much potential there but wow.... Just hope this experience helps for next few years and not plays with his head.

West Coast road trip starts in the land of the Giants.

I loved that show back in the day.

Most teams don't plan on using a 3rd catcher in a result basis. So normally that guy isn't very good. The only good C prospect is no where close to ready and just went back on the DL.

Where is Corkey?

Where is Corkey?

Two years into his retirement.

HT said good catchers, so Miller wouldn't apply anyway.

Scott Schebler went 5-5 hitting for the cycle last night at Louisville. If/When Bruce is traded he's going to be the guy I'd imagine.

I agree with you re: Schebler. Duvall beat him out this year, but Schebler has been very good in AAA and will get an opportunity to play everyday sooner rather than later.

Schebler at Louisville:

.315 Average, .370 OBP, 13 HR, 40 RBI, 18 doubles, 7 triples in 71 games. He does have 55 K's compared to only 16 BB's, but those numbers will play.
