The good news for Woodford is 2017 is when good things will start to break

For a few years now it always seems that Fleming is on the verge,

But bad timing and playoff upsets keeps away a post-season surge

A loss to West Carter and a tie-breaker cost them just last year,

With the most experience in the District though are better times near?

8-2 is a season most would truly envy,

But a loss to Russell costs them the banner, and makes Round 2 unfriendly

Travelling to Pond Creek is a fate that many must grit their teeth and bare,

They lose to the Champs but to their credit they put forth an effort more than fair.

With Kendon Young the Eagles felt they had a shot at the lower division,

But when Young when down most playoff picks had to require a revision.

A 6-0 start turned to a 8-4 finish, the end of whih will carry into the season's start.

The theme will be .500 as after 5-5 and a 2 seed, Russellville will break the Eagle's hearts

A rebound year wasn't too kind with life without Crider it would seem

The Eagles went 0 for their Rivals, and lost to the third best squad in Bowling Green

Though I don't expect a whole lot better, Graves has something special in the works

I love the Mathis and Grant combo, yet another 5-5 still hurts.

Unlike last year they beat Greenwood, and with Owensboro get a return meeting

The Eagles nearly pull the upset, but are still bounced with much less of a beating.

Dayton has fallen on tough times, their numbers remain low

From what I hear though there is a pride, and support from the community is starting to show.

I expect dividends to show in the future, but my prediction is on the hear and now.

Another 1-10 season I see and out of the First Round they bow

The Swami has had fun and hope his rhymes have brought smiles to your faces.

With the season approaching he has to get his bearings back straight after researching all these places.

I am glad no one took it too serious, after all it was light hearted fun.

But feel free to call out the Swami once your season is done.

So on this note the Swami is bowing out to focus on his other obligations to the site,
