It doesn't surprise me at all. I'm from Central Delaware where there is a very large Amish population. The young adult Amish were well known as being one of the main sources of pot and other drugs when I was a teenager in the 80's.

Well with the Amish practice of Rumshpringa, the norm apparently includes heavy dabbling in drugs when their youths go out to explore the world outside of the Amish community before committing to baptism into the community. Doesn't take much to get hooked on heroin...if someone doesn't know what the risk is and decides to dabble with the wrong drug, heroin could REALLY easily become a problem.
