Rom goes the distance for the Birds.

Doty & Raisor both available against Beechwood. Hope for a good game and a solid effort.

Go Birds! Beat Tigers!

Wow this sounds like 2014 all over again when many of these kids were competing at the JV level. 3 Game run to title occurred on one day and 3 shutouts. 2 down and 1 to go. Good luck boys and bring home the title again.

Gotta give it up to the pitching and defense by the Birds. Coach Baioni also plugs in a bunch of new faces this season but getting same results in the Tourney.

Just curious how many new starters in the lineup?

I believe the magic number is 7 new everyday starters this year. Kreeger was the only returning starter. Not counting the pitcher, but both Doty and Raisor returned as well.

2-hitter for Rom and 1 was by the lead off batter in the first inning.

3rd year in a row for Birds in finals and 4 of the last 5 years.

Just curious how many new starters in the lineup?

I believe the only regular non-pitcher starter from last year who returned was Conner Kreeger. Last year the Birds had seniors at every starting spot, including whoever was the DH of the day, except Kreeger who started in right. Obviously Doty and Raisor were key pitchers last year who returned.
