Conner beats Cooper in district semifinal - Cincinnati News, FOX19-WXIX TV

Congrats to Conner! Who was on the hill for Cooper?

Zach Friend. Senior Lefthander

Cooper is just so inexperienced it seems.

Cooper has some soul-searching to do about the program.

Cooper has some soul-searching to do about the program.

That is an understatement, the vision of the program does not appear clear to anyone. Except maybe the head coach and AD at Cooper.

I know there is some talent there....some sitting the bench and getting no coaching at all. But everyone does it differently.

There was also a lot of talented seniors that decided not to play this year after being in the program since the 8th grade.

Maybe if they only put Reid on the mound...... Right W32

The players have to have some level of accountability in big games. Coaches do not throw and catch and hit. Cooper gave Conner multiple outs on easy plays in the first inning. Their inability to make routine outs did them in

Change up you are right. Conner's bench was in the game the whole time. Cooper's coach looked like he tried to light a fire under the kids in between innings but did no good. Sometimes you have look in the mirror for the answer or the problem. If Cooper supposedly has better talent on the bench what have they shown this season to prove it. This is Varsity sports not every kids gets a ribbon for being on the team. You earn the right to play. Give credit where credit is due. Conner hit the ball and made the plays to win.
