Elizabethtown Panthers - 2015 Grade

Featured Replies

B-

The Panthers averaged 43 points on offense during their undefeated regular season, and their average margin of victory was 32 points. However, their regular season schedule was not exactly a backbreaker. They had a decent win over Paducah-Tilghman in the first round of the playoffs, and then showed signs of struggle with a 32-27 victory over Caldwell County, before having their season ended by the 3A runners-up, Lexington Catholic.

Do you agree with a B- for Elizabethtown? What grade do you give the Panthers?

B- is about right, they really need to start scheduling tougher opponents during the regular season. Its time to add Central and John Hardin to the schedule instead of the likes of Marion and Edmonson County.

I'd go B+, that's almost into an A-.

They had a great year. Everybody can poop all over scheduling, but, they were one of the last 4 teams in 3A. So, yeah, I think they were fine. Would a tougher schedule have taught them some valuable lesson that would have allowed them to beat Lex Cath? I don't get the scheduling issue, and I probably never will.

Can't drop Edmonson, they're in district.

Please stick with grades.
