Cincinnati Bengals Draft

Featured Replies

Bengals needed a feature WR and didn't get one. Not really their fault because they were picked before the Bengals were up.

Why did Billings drop so far?

When I saw the Bengals picked him in the fourth round I thought it was a great pick. Then I wondered why he fell so far, and if there was something the Bengals missed. It will either be a draft steal or just another 4th round bust.

Remember when it was first round bust? Where's Big Daddy.

IDk if its true slowness, or more like he doesnt know what to do, and it makes him look slow, but Ive noticed it. Kids been a project first round pick, but its time for him to show up or show out.

That is my point. Its basically impossible for anyone to have a true evaluation of him at this point. Even rookie CB's who come in and start right away look a step slow while adjusting to guarding NFL Wrs. His first two years in the league he has had very few NFL snaps due to injury. They say in practice he looks great, but then he keeps having injuries that don't allow him to actually play. He could end up being a complete bust, or he could end up being a very good player. It just is impossible to tell at this point.

Some rookie free agents they signed.

Ryan Brown, DL, Mississippi State

Tre Carson, RB, Texas A&M

Alex Cooper, OL, Houston

David Dean, DT, Virginia

Alex Erickson, WR, Wisconsin

Antwane Grant, WR, Western Kentucky

Darien Harris, LB, Michigan State

Darius Hillary, CB, Wisconsin

Matt Johnson, QB, Bowling Green

Antonio Longino, LB, Arizona State

Dy'Shawn Mobley, RB, Eastern Kentucky

Silverberry Mouhon, DE, Cincinnati

Alonzo Russell, WR, Toledo

John Weidenaar, OL, Montana State

Travis Wilson, QB, Utah

I'd love to have a conversation with Mom and Dad about how they came up with the name Silverberry! I'd give the Bengals draft an A- and this name an A+ for uniqueness...:smug:

Clayton Fejedelem is an outstanding tackler and hitter.

He's probably better in run support than coverage. I could see him contributing in that hybred LB/S role and also in nickel packages.

Should be a good special teams player also.
