No they didn't play on the South Laurel State Championship team in 2005. Sizemore was an assistant under Steve Wright that season. They were teammates when South Laurel made the Elite Eight in 2001.

How can some of the schools mentioned be considering a 6' 4" perimeter if he doesn't shoot the three. I'm not being critical because I've not seen him play but just a question

He can shoot the three. His soph year he went 36-99. North made an effort to not shoot as many threes this year and share the ball more.

Fun Fact: Devin Booker and Peyton Broughton will be the same age for one month this year. One will be a senior in HS and one will be in his second season as an NBA Player.

He is obviously talented, but he does need to improve his shooting, which I'm sure that he would agree with. I expect that he will do fine at the collegiate level.

I didn't compare him to Devin Booker only in age. If you look at most kids his age they would heading into their sophomore year of college, and he'll be a senior in HS. Never downgraded the kid, just gave him realistic college expectations. I said he was a nice player, just won't contribute at the next level.

He's gonna get a scholarship at a D-1 school which is better than most whether he contributes a lot or not. And yes, he's still in school, so he's a kid to me. But that's just my opinion.

Good for Peyton and Devin Booker. Booker recognized he had an elite talent that is now paying him millions of dollars in the NBA. The earlier you get there, the sooner you make the $$$. Peyton is pretty smart too. I'm guessing he knows the NBA is probably not in his future but getting his college education paid for while playing the game he loves is.

By the way you are down playing Peyton's abilities you(or someone in your family) had, has, or will have student loans in college. Maybe not, but you are coming across as a person who is envious of someone's success and that individual is doing nothing but following the rules.

Being a year older can make a huge difference in middle school, but once they get to be a junior or senior in high school, other kids have caught up physically and maturity wise. It may have helped him get noticed earlier, but I don't believe it's the reason he stands out now.

Even in high school it can make a major difference, you're telling me someone who doesn't turn 18 til after they graduate or midway through the season couldn't use 2 extra years of development in high school? Look at the "Matthew Effect" when it comes to sports, or read the first chapter of Outliars by Malcolm Gladwell. College is where it usually evens out, because you're playing likewise talent.
