April 25, 201610 yr If you are a NBA Free Agent...does this impact where you go? With the all of the national coverage today, players don't need to go to L.A. or NY to become stars...so do these local taxes hurt or have no impact on getting players?
April 25, 201610 yr I think it helps the Texas and Florida teams and slightly hurts the California teams but between those it's a non factor. And even with the extreme ends of that scale, it may only play a factor 10% of the time or so, just a guess.

It will affect some guys' decisions but others not so much. I would have thought Massachusetts (Celts) would be higher. They do call the state "taxachusetts" after all.
