Great ballgame for both teams.Holy Cross's slappers and speed seemed to have made the difference as they answered Hancock run for run.Both teams were playing at a high level throughout the tourney and as the day moved along everyone knew there was going to be a rematch of last years championship game.It was really a great game to witness abd Hancock Co. proved they can compete with one of the better teams in the state.

Didn't stick around after our loss to Lyon Co., so can you inform everyone that wasn't present what happened that both coaches weren't happy about?

Would you be upset? Never called an illegal pitch.

I wish my DD could have crow hopped like that! She was called for throwing a spit ball!! She had a habit of licking the tips of her fingers after each pitch lol

Were the refs that bad that they couldn't see something obvious like that? That is preety obvious is you ask me... Were they older? Sometimes in real time, old eyes have a hard time keeping up. Right Lawnboy? :lol:

Got these off Twitter but it's plain. If I can see it, the coaches saw it, the fans saw it, but somehow the umpire didn't see it. Lyon was down a run with the bases loaded. Make the right calls it could be a different game. Holy Cross is a good team they shouldn't need this junk to win.

FWIW, I rarely see umps call illegal pitches. One every now and then, but then usually not again even for repeat issues. When you complain, it's the same every time: "I could call an illegal pitch on both pitchers every pitch." So the answer is to not call any, I guess.
