Does that illegal pitch really make that much of a difference when it comes to putting the bat on the ball? I mean yeah it looks illegal but I don't think the Pitcher getting that much of an advantage

I've been around this along time and know pitching. If you don't think a crowhop gives the pitcher an advantage, you need to go study up. That's why it's illegal.

Josh Bloomer would have had it called and been screaming! Heck, he changed the entire 7th region championship game last year in Male-Assumption by manipulating the umpires to call an illegal pitch!
