What does Dixie Heights need to do to improve in 2016? What do they need to keep doing to be successful? Remember, please be constructive.

It will be a interesting year for Dixie they returns some talent and I believe they also have transfer Giante Hicks.

Seeing Dixie twice last year they had several nice players but did not have much team speed on varsity but they did have some good looking JV players that I thought could have played up.

Hicks will give them some more speed. He has offers from Kentucky Christian and Robert Morris.

Not to be a naysayer, but I think it is a big season for Coach Brossart. He followed a great team up by going young last year. This year, he needs to generate some good results with this program or people will start asking, as I am right now ...

Was 2014 a blessing of great talent to this coach or was coaching a big factor in the success?

If Dixie can post a solid season, Coach Brossart will solidify his reputation and put himself in position for longevity at Dixie.

They need a qb. They went young at most positions last year except qb, which makes me think they don't have many options.

Smedley will probably start or the Sophomore qb.

This could be a very good team. The results will teeter on level of accountability and team building this off season.

The Colonels will have a stable of healthy RBs. D and O-lines a year wiser, bigger, and stronger. The defense will have solid senior leadership throughout. The big ? as was with the 2014 team is how will the O-line gel/grows over the course of NOW and going into district games?

The talent is certainly there for a winning season. Excited to see what these young men can accomplish together! Go Dixie Heights Colonels... :thumb:

Nice write up on senior Jose Torres and the importance of the performance in the trenches ( as is the case with all teams ). The young man is a bowling ball with legs aside from being a great kid!

Where is Cam Barrett on the offense side of the ball?

Where is Cam Barrett on the offense side of the ball?

Have been told defense will be Camerons focus between OLB and Safety based on opponent and down.

He may know a thing or two about a few positions on offense as well! Torres and Barker along with how much of chip on the OL shoulder they play with will be key this season...good to great seasons are earned in the trenches!!!

If Jose Torres is good enough to move Barrett out of the offense, Torres is a total stud. I expected Barrett to be one of the top backs in N. Ky. this year.

Torres is a stud...Barker, Giante Hicks, and Barrett each performed well against Harrison ( OH ) last night. Dixie will enjoy a lot of depth in the offensive backfield this season.

With cameron's size and speed he should be a good prospect on defense. That might be a great fit for him. Not many linebackers or safeties have his speed. Look forward to seeing what his future holds.
