How did these two teams hook up...they both in Florida?

Never mind, saw where Highlands was in Madisonville and played multiple teams.

Not sure what the Birds get out of playing these WKY teams other than a different look and an opportunity for the team to get their bats going and bond a little.

It is an opportunity for them to get out of town since they no longer go to Myrtle Beach and those kids forfeit the opportunity to go on Spring Break. In essence, this is their spring break trip.

 

Darn shame that they chose not to go to Myrtle Beach this year. Just another of many things that this years senior class had to deal with.
