Conner RB/WR Isaiah Ebarb has earned a scholarship to Morehead BUT.....

It's for cheerleading which is interesting because he's never cheered before.

MSU has a strong cheerleading program from what I gather. Many national championships.

Congrats to Isaiah.

The kid is a freak athlete, and will be able to learn the tumbling aspect pretty quickly I would imagine. Something he does have is the ability to toss around petite women with ease. (That sounded really bad) He will definitely be a part of a successful, winning program and I think he will do well in this role!

Congrats to the young man. Hate to hear he wont be continuing his football career as he was a tremendous player and hard to prepare for.

Is this for football as well (i.e. he plays football and cheers for basketball) I've known the young man since his pee wee days and thought he would continue his playing career at the next level somewhere. Morehead St. has a National Championship contending program and they are good as I've seen them perform and some of the male cheerleaders look as if they should be on the football field! I'm all for getting that education PAID for and by any means necessary. Best of luck to Isaiah in getting that degree which is what it's really all about!

Morehead offers scholarships for cheerleading but none for football. What a shame.

This is the set up for the entire Pioneer Conference unfortunately but if they have pulled strings to make it work and get him on the field good for him!

He is not playing football.

Congrats to Isaiah and best wishes at Morehead St !

If cheerleading is the vehicle to a solid education...so be it!!!

That cheering thing might be a pretty cool gig when you think about it.
