Buckhorn's semifinal opponent is Breathitt County and the Wildcats defeated them by 28 points in February, so I concur that The Horn will more than likely be in the championship game vs Perry Central, who should beat June Buchanan in the other semifinal game. However, the Commodores had better not take JBS too lightly. The Crusaders are no pushover due mainly to the size of their front court.

I called Pcc vs Buckhorn after seeing the draw.

I'm not exactly sure this was a big surprise. Buckhorn was ranked ahead (by a small margin) of Letcher in all three computer ranking systems. Those are the Cantrell, Lit, and Maher. All of those rankings don't just look at record. They factor in strength of schedule and such. I look forward to seeing how the rest of this tournament plays out.
