It's interesting, but remember its University of Oregon (Nike ville). Had you not seen it before? I had always wondered what the pi alpha pi symbol was for under the O. Found out it is "MATT" for Matthew Knight Arena.

They kept calling it "The Matt", but I didn't know why.

I'd seen pictures before but hadn't watched a game on it until last night. It's truly hideous.

Phil Knight's son I think. He passed away.

I was chatting with a buddy at the gym today. Do you think these ugly courts have something to do wth home court advantage? Hard to find the lines and realize where you are on the court if you don't play in the gym very often. I love the old boring courts personally.

Hey, it's Oregon. Take a look at all the ridiculous football uni's and one can understand their ugly (and I mean Ugly) basketball floor.

^^^ Of the floors shown by NKYknowitall, I like Manhattan's and San Jose State isn't too bad. Both are marked more traditionally (I'm always for that). I also kind of agree with TAC about home court advantage and the lack of distinction of the lines and areas on a BBall floor.
