Anybody got any details on how much Bell threw the ball? Heard they ran several bootlegs and some misdirection with the backs. I've heard Dudley is changing his ways in some ways in order to be able to beat Rock this year, b/c it doesnt appear Bell can handle them up front just running it up the middle.

How did the Jackets look in the scrimmage? Did anyone stand out for the Burg?

Didn't see much of the game but this is the smallest team I remember at Bell.

How bad was Williamsburg WR Chase Hamblin's injury?

WR #21 looked really good ,He was the one player for "the Burg" that really stood out.

IMO he was fine ,After a few minutes he got up and walked off the field.

Bell threw the football several times and looked really good WR #2 for Bell has great hands ,I didn't count his catches but he had 4 or 5 and one really long TD catch (about 75 yards).

Bell was very impressive, really good team speed. Williamsburg was outmanned as was to be expected. Williamsburg appeared to play this pretty close to the vest and it appeared they only ran a base defense and were very vanilla on offense running what looked like 1 to 2 formations and only 6 or 7 plays. Frazier had a couple of nice runs from the QB spot, Root blocked very well out of the FB spot and was steady at linebacker, Hamlin had a couple of catches and possibly the surprise of the night were freshmen Alex Patrick (long TD catch) and Dusty Brown. I look for this team, in spite of the scrimmage results to surprise some folks this year. Also Bell will do very well with the open attack they showed. To me, Number 2 for Bell was the most impressive player on the field.
