Never know in the 'boro.

Didn't get a chance to catch this one... Was this loss to blame more on coaching for Daviess County or the fact that Ben Moss coming back from Prep School made that much a difference? I saw he had 12 points in the 4th quarter so I know his impact was felt.

Ben Moss obviously played a factor. He makes Apollo so much better on both ends of the floor. That being said, I still feel like Daviess County kind of gave the game away. Currie started playing 15 feet from basket on the offensive AND defensive end and that really hurt DC. I felt like they should have adjusted and hammered Apollo inside in the 4th quarter but the adjustment never came. It just felt odd all night. Even the DC cheering section seemed on edge all night long. In the end, Apollo played much looser, won all the 50-50 balls and just seemed to want it more. You can't overlook Zach Hopewell in this one. Ben did have a big 4th but Apollo isn't even in the game if not for Zach's monster performance.

The only ones who don't get that Moss playing after not practicing one time before playing in the last game of the season, are the win at any costs AHS fans- anyone with any common sense knows this is a travesty and is wrong for so many reasons..too bad for loyal, long term kids in program who have been dumped on...they are lucky they didn't all walk out -- Shame on everyone involved in trying to rationalize the " what's best for our team "
