What UK sites, podcasts, blogs do you frequent?

Featured Replies

I follow a lot of sports writers, bloggers, etc on Twitter and today Jeff Goodman mentioned that he will be on the Big Blue Views podcast. This year besides the normal KSR podcast that is the daily radio shows as well as pre and post game shows Matt Jones started his own podcast, Tyler Thompson from KSR has 1 episode of her new one, as well as the KSR football podcasts with Lorenzen, Freddie Maggard, Nick Roush - this week one is usually pretty good with both football knowledge and stories.

Anyway with learning of that podcast, I realized that there are so many blogs, websites, podcasts etc for fans of UK. What are the ones you read or listen to, and what are the good ones that people may not know about?

I'll start since it was my question, I listen to Ky Sports Radio some but not every day, I do like Matt's podcast especially the ones with Tony Vanetti and Terry Meiners. Also the KSR Football are usually great. I read KSR website daily, and also the BGP college forums. Long ago I used to be a loyal Cats Pause guy, but although I still buy a subscription (for my stepdad - he loves it) I haven't read their site or magazine myself in years.

I also read Kyle Tucker & Jon Hale stuff on C-J, but usually not Tim Sullivan - when he first signed with C-J he was very get off my lawn grumpy, he's mellowed but I just haven't warmed to him and will sometimes read his stuff but don't seek it out. I like John Clay and Mark Story from H-L but also avoid Tipton (gets on my nerves).

I like Jon Scott's site, Big Blue History, because he has stats & records that go back forever.

Listen to KSR basically every day, but very seldom visit the website anymore.

Ksr plus Matt's Podcast and post game show. Ksr's football podcast are okay, Freddie Meggard's breakdowns are a little long winded.

I find Dick Gabriel's show to be slow, but you can find out all of UK's sports teams.

I'm fairly certain Jon Hood has a podcast. I seem to remember him tweeting about it last year. No idea what the name of it is, but worth looking into.

The Nameless Sports podcast.
