Tough loss for Campbell Co it seems. Any analysis of the game overall?

No love for the Lady Camels from the refs. Only shot 2 foul shots the entire game, but they also missed a good amount of layups that didn't help either.

The very good teams make layups (take it out of the refs hands) and free throws. Hopefully Campbell County made their two free throws. Campbell's last five games will prove how they stack up in NKY. They need to win the next two regular season games to make a statement. Good luck.

Campbell only has 1 regular season game left and that's at Holy Cross this Friday night.

Not even counting the top ten teams they played from Ohio and Illinois.

Campbell County's strength of schedule ranks 30th in the state

According to the latest Maher rankings.

The Lady Camels impressed with their motion offense and aggressive play on both ends of the floor. They moved the ball really well on offense getting good looks at the basket. #4 Clos is a heck of a player!

The Valkyries looked flat in the first half, but put together a good 2nd half to get the win.

Campbell County's strength of schedule ranks 30th in the state

I said "what WILL rank as ONE of the toughest schedules.".

They have played 3 teams in the top 20 since the latest rankings. Topping it off with the defending state champs.

Anticipate their final strength of schedule to be 20 or higher. So, yes, one of the toughest. There are almost 300 schools.

Is it true that as the Campbell County coach was leaving the floor he threw a tantrum and ripped the decorations for senior night at SHA off the walls as he went to the locker room? If so that's petty, childish and a poor example to set for your players.

There were streamers hanging down through the entrance to the locker room. You could not pass without separating them. Some streamers came down as he rushed and pulled through them, yes. They were also picked up.

If that's what he did that is ridiculous he needs to grow up and set a better example regardless of how he felt the game went.

 

Its not worth playing there if your from Northern Kentucky area you get no calls not to say it cost the teams the game but it is obvious when you play there.

I think these games are great for both teams. Everybody should understand that you're gonna get bad calls when you travel out of town. But... you're also going to prepare your team for the big games to come.
