Kentucky football’s 2016 opener just got a little more interesting.

 

Former UK offensive coordinator Shannon Dawson is set to become the new offensive coordinator at Southern Mississippi, according to Dan Wolken of USA Today. Southern Miss is set to travel to Commonwealth Stadium for the 2016 season opener on Sept. 3. UK will also travel to Southern Miss for the 2017 season opener.
