I think the biggest surprise of the day is Texas. Depending on which site you go on Texas was around high 20's early 30's before today. They are hovering around top 10 now. College Football is better when Texas is good.

1. I don't see how saying what the strengths are of recruits is somehow has anything to do with Drew.

2. No. He's lived it first hand. Saw a the #1 QB get criticized repeatedly and knows that QB2 is the fan favorite when things don't go well. Dude competes. No different here.

3. Hoak will redshirt barring injuries. Not physically ready to play SEC ball.

Thanks for the 1,2,3, I appreciate the response. Looking forward to seeing how the competition works out. And I agree I don't think Hoak is ready to play SEC ball. I do think Johnson II has a great opportunity in front of him.

2016 Kentucky Football Signee - Stephen Johnson II | UK Wildcats News

The problem is Stoops handing Barker the job, after he's done little on the field. That was a rookie mistake by Stoops who is now saying everyone will compete. He didn't even have his new OC before handing him the job did he?

The Stoops giveth, and the Stoops taketh. Just because Barker got the job at the end of the 2015 season, doesn't mean he will still have it at the beginning of the 2016 season.
