what is the offensive player moves to the front court and the ball is tipped by the defensive player. A loose ball scramble ensues and the offensive player contacts the ball then it rolls in the backcourt and is recovered by the offensive player? Once the ball is knocked from players control it doesn't matter if it touches a offensive player last in front court . It is determined a loose ball and may recover in back court with no violation. Hope this helps.

If you are saying that it's not a violation because it was tipped that's incorrect. You'll hear coaches and fans yell "it was TIPPED" but it doesn't matter. Last to touch and first to touch make it a violation. Tip is immaterial.

The only ones who asked questions to the refs was the team captains and before the start of the game at half court the refs told the captains they had no problems with them talking to them as long as they were not trying to show them up .

That is officially from hand book so you better check it out .. specifically states it's a loose ball no possession may be recovered by offense.

It is 1 captain per team that can speak to the refs so you are wrong. Others had questions as well, even to the point where one player had to pull another player away.

I guess since I talk to Sapp and maddox after the game and they told me they was allowed to talk to the officials and they asked them at half court and they said they were fine with it .So I guess I'm correct.

You are 100% incorrect. Team control still exists during a loose ball.

I guess rule book must be wrong.

Rulebook is correct. Your understanding is not.

No once player has ball knocked from hand it becomes loose ball doesn't matter who it touches last before going into backcourt. The offense may recover ball in backcourt.

Again, you are not correct.

Type in what you're reading in the rulebook and I'll tell you what you're misunderstanding.

I typed in backcourt violation and copied exactly what it said. Thanks but don't need the help

Since you is tight with the boys, ask Maddox if he pulled Pugh away from a ref when he was arguing a call in the corner.

Yes he did because he was not one of them at half court they refs gave permission to talk to them .

No offense but what you typed wasn't exactly clear. No way that's what came up.

But you believe what you will.
