Anything can happen. I've witnessed this time and time again. Depends on which Augusta team shows up.

Comparing scores is a recipe for failure and crow-eating.

 

Basketball is about match-ups and Augusta matches up with us pretty well. We do have a height advantage in the paint, but Owens Crawford, Camryn Snapp, Tanner Pugh and Conner Maddox match up well with our other four.

 

Incidentally, these Brossart seniors lost to the Augusta seniors 45-32 at Augusta back when they were freshmen. The Mustangs were led that night by a player no longer on the team and the Panthers have added Tanner Pugh. Snapp had 21 and Maddox had 12 that night. No Mustag presently on our roster had double-figures.

 

This will be a good test to see how far these Mustangs have come since November 30th, 2012. I expect a great game from both sides. It is always enjoyable to play in the Augusta gym, so long as we only have to do it once every two years.
