Cooper was up 2 with the ball and was holding it for the last shot of the half but lost it out of bounds. As Ryle advanced the ball up the floor Kunk was called for a foul with just over a second left. Ryle was able to get the ball into Turner and he hit a contested 3 from distance to give them the lead at the break.

 

I thought this would give the Raiders a boost going into the second half but it did not play out that way. The Jags came out and took the lead right away and never trailed the rest of the way.

Cooper is so tough and so well coached - every reason to drop a few with McNeil down but instead they re-group and find a way to grind out wins. They work so hard and play well together- and kids step up. This is what high school basketball, and team basketball, should be about. Sullivan can really coach.

Rohlman was 11 for 11 at the free throw line vs Ryle, he's been a difference maker in their past two wins. Great to see the other players stepping up while Sean is out, will only make the team stronger when he is able to return.
