It is with significant regret that I inform you that Senior (and I believe a Captain) OL Jalen Jacob of Dupont Manual committed suicide either last night or this morning.

We go through many emotions on this site, but this is the worst. Please remember Jalen's family and the entire Manual family at this difficult hour. Also, please make sure we are speaking with our young people as much as possible to help them even when you may not know that they are hurting.

Sending prayers. Words really cant express the heartache. I pray the young man is at peace.

Very sad to hear. RIP.

This is absolutely heartbreaking. As a father of a senior football player- I can't imagine what his parents are going through. Condolences.

Tough day for the Crimson family, I was lucky to coach Jalen for 3 years. Jalen truly was a great kid and absolutely never saw this coming. Prayers to his mom and dad, Jalen was their pride and joy. Hold your young ones extra tight tonight.

Oh my goodness...I had no idea this happened...from the title of the thread one might think it was a recruiting video or such....God bless his family...such a travesty.

Rip. Young man
