excele1001 Posted January 19, 2016 Posted January 19, 2016 Holy cross has better 5 than Newport. Hc wins. Newport will have to choose to stop either behold or Schrand. Not enough defenSe to stop both.

excele1001 Posted January 19, 2016 Posted January 19, 2016 (edited) Timing is interesting for Newport at full roster. I still go with HC. They appear to have a special group this year. Edited January 19, 2016 by MentschTrachtGottLacht Capitalization
NKYknowitall Posted January 19, 2016 Author Posted January 19, 2016 So Mullins is allowed to return to action? As far as I know, he is back this week. It was a team agreement to bring him back.
uselessinfo Posted January 19, 2016 Posted January 19, 2016 timing is interesting for newport at full roster. i still go with HC. They appear to have a special group this year. NO more interesting that other schools in basketball or other sports allowing players to play that have done things they should not have as bad or worse than Mr. Mullins. Quite frankly he has not played since late Dec. so he has had a significant layoff. Both the Highlands game and the NCC game they would have brought him back for since they were district seeding games if that thought process of which you are alluding to was being used.

smalltownscout Posted January 19, 2016 Posted January 19, 2016 (edited) Holy Cross wins this one... the Indians have won big games all yr.. with Mullins out of the lineup for Newport it will be hard to match points with the pace of the Indians... Holy Cross wins big 66-50. Edited January 19, 2016 by MentschTrachtGottLacht Capitalization
uselessinfo Posted January 19, 2016 Posted January 19, 2016 Such as? Not biting on that....sorry...........:sssh: Everyone on here who is a "veteran" knows every school public and private has had their issues and allow players to play after committing acts that from the outside seem to be ones that those "on the outside" want players kicked off for, etc. Newport basketball has been taking its share of "hits" on BGP with hard fouls and actions of players. Just figure people should look at their own programs before going out on a tangent in this thread.
CoachNormanDale Posted January 19, 2016 Posted January 19, 2016 With Mullins being back I still see Holy Cross with the W. Indians by 12.
