The Revenant

Featured Replies

Watched it last night with Mrs RTS, I thought it was great! The Mrs liked it too, just too bloody for her. I told her I would have liked a little more blood and gore, the look I got from her was priceless.

Finally caught this movie on Prime last night. I don't see many films which require an intermission. This one did... :lol2:

I enjoyed the geography, the filming angles, and the lack of speech. A fan of "The Frontiersman" this film was pretty cool to me. Enjoyed the french-indian, trading storyline. Mrs. C1 had some issues but was clearly glued until the end to see the revenge factor bare fruit. She's not a frontierswoman.

I got my revenge on her. She forced my hand one night to watch a Kevin Bacon movie called "Copcar." Let's just say I'll never get that 1.5 hours back. Do yourself a favor and avoid Copcar like the plague. Well the "Revenant" is now her Copcar! :lol2:

Very well done film...just be sure to plan an intermission! :thumb:

Finally saw this last night and enjoyed it, but probably not as much as the rest of you. I think I enjoyed Tom Hardy's acting better than Leo's.

Knew he was going to cut out the guts of that horse and sleep in it.
