I wouldn't put up much of a fuss arguing that. Ann is FANTASTIC!!! Love me some Karen Carpenter too. Of course, Karen was pop/country. Ann is the best female rock voice ever, imo.

Pretty good little singer, here, papa. My favorite Karen song among many favorites. Her voice chills me to the bone. Makes me happy and terribly sad at the same time.

 

One of my favorite tunes from '73. I think she hit the top of the charts with this one. Indeed was on top of the world with her music.
