If they are trying to commit fraud, and after already had another property burn down when they were out of town, then they are not very smart people. Whoever started the fire, I hope they catch them soon and they never see the light of day again.
January 5, 201610 yr Jeff Ruby has pledged an additional $10k to the reward money for any info leading to arrest of arsonists. I feel the homeowner is involved, likely paid someone to set it offerin a cut of tge insurance money.
January 5, 201610 yr This morning's paper says the couple that owns the home was in Las Vegas celebrating their 45th anniversary. That should be an easily verified alibi with all the cameras in Vegas. Q's suggestion of paid arson is the most likely story if the owners were involved
January 5, 201610 yr When this story originally broke, it was stated that this same house had been broken into and robbed. The homeowners helped police find the suspect. I'm going to bet that same guy broke in again knowing the owners were out of town and this time, set a fire to cover his tracks.
