NDSU leading 13-0 halfway through the 2nd quarter. They are driving inside the red zone.

 

I love NDSU. Nice looking team running power football and playing nasty defense.

 

NDSU is the 4 time defending National Champs and they look like it.

Richmond can't move the ball at all on offense. They are supposed to have the best OL in FCS and the NDSU defensive front is killing them.

Only weakness so far for NDSU has been kicking. Missed 2 xp and a fg attempt.

NDSU is so fun to watch. You've already said it, but they are a little bit old school and actually line up under center, 2 backs, Tight Ends....all kinds of "boring" neanderthal'ish type stuff that is fun to watch for "weirdos" like us @Watusi. :lol2:

And yes, Harry, I really LOVE this style of football. They used up 8 minutes of clock on their last drive. Now their defense is flying all around making tackles and wreaking havoc. Good stuff.

Once Wentz went down I never imagined NDSU making it this far. I think the team has elevated their play in his absence, most notably the defense. The big question remains, if Wentz is healthy, does he start in the championship game?

 

As as I said in the other thread, this is the worst Bison team in 6 seasons.

And the Fargodome is the coolest place I've ever watched a game. Such an advantage, and yes, loud.
