Not sure what year WKU's current kicker is but I'd sure like to see him in Bowling Green!

I didn't want to say it in the NKY All Star thread, but for my money #10 was a first team MLBer as well. The difference in Highlands interior in the front 7 with him in and out of the game was night and day. I don't think that many other players had that kind of impact.

They have been contacted by several people including us and not a peep.

Well thanks. Not sure about first team, but certainly could have garnered some votes to be on the second team. Time at safety early in the season may have hampered that a little.

Probably depends on where he ends up. The higher the level of play, the less likelihood of playing on the field and he is fine with that. In fact, Murray State likes the edge he could bring to the kicking game because of the fact that he was not only a kicker in high school.

Nope. Highlight tape went back out to them today along with Louisville, WKU & EKU. Holding out hope that something comes along. Central Michigan has made Twitter contact, but nothing in person or via phone.

 

Planning to visit Lindsey Wilson in early January. Have heard quite a bit from Campbellsville and Marian University who is playing in their 2nd or 3rd straight NAIA championship game this weekend in Florida.

 

Thomas More has also stepped up its pursuit as well.

Here's a list of schools and their needs as communicated by the schools to one of the national kicking/snapping organizations. May be helpful with Jared's recruiting. The supply of strong kickers has exploded the last 3-4 years making it much harder to find a D1 home (that's my opinion). Jared is a strong left footed punter, may be fruitful to focus on that skill, not as many of those floating around.

That's disappointing. I can never understand the mindset, particularly when we see a lack of kicking ability negatively affect an otherwise good team.

 

Not that WKU is in that position, I'd just like to see him go where I can watch him several times each year.
