GRC is 2-3 and coming off a 2-point loss at Woodford County, while West seems to be a pleasant surprise in the 16th Region, presently sitting at 5-0.

Who wins when these two battle on Friday in Rowan County's Kentucky Bank Challenge?

I'll take West by 7 in this one. They are hot out of the gate and playing with a lot of confidence.

GRC still not at full strength, but will make a good showing on Friday night.

Cardinals by 3.

who will be out?

who will be out?

JJ Johnson will return in a couple of weeks following a pre-season injury.

Monte Jenkins is still working his way back into shape after his layoff.

Both of these forwards are instrumental to the overall success of the Cards.

That district is loaded. Great win over the Cougars the other night on the road. Does West have any height? Tell us about how they play and what we should expect in this game. Thanks!!!!

Is he out of the boot yet? At the last game I saw him still wearing it.

This team starts 4 jr's, and a sr. 6'8 Ben Jordan averages around 13ppg and 14 rpg. He is very skilled and runs the floor well. Hayden Rowe is 6" 4 and leads them in scoring at 18 a game, and over 11 rpg. He can get hot and put up 30+. Dalton Brown is a quick guard and averages 17 a game. He is probably their best 3 point shooter. Braden Brown averages close to 12 pts per game. I look for West to try and keep this game in the 60's. Should be a good one.

Thanks so much for the info, really appreciate it. The height could give GRC some trouble. We are not tall at all but love to run with the ball. Playing out of region and different refs is a good experience for any team. West is a great undefeated team. Just hope the Cards can out run and gun them.
