Josiah Robbins and Mack Cox hit some late threes to make the final score. North Hardin had a 10-15 point lead from halftime until those final threes made the final score.

For North Hardin:

 

Gavin Root finished with 16 points to lead North Hardin.

 

Tony Jackson had 13 points, 11 rebounds and 3 assists.

 

William Alexander added 6 points and 7 rebounds.

For Boyle County:

 

Colton Elkins had 17 points, 13 rebounds and 4 blocks.

 

Josiah Robbins had 9 points and 4 rebounds.

 

Mack Cox finished with 6 points and 7 rebounds.

This was a pretty ugly game to watch.

 

Boyle County had 26 turnovers and North Hardin had 18 turnovers.

 

North Hardin was called for 23 fouls and Boyle County was called for 25 fouls.

 

North Hardin was 16-43 from the floor and made 12-25 free throws.

 

Boyle County was 13-39 from the floor and made 12-20 free throws.

 

 

I don't think I am going too far out on a limb to say both teams have had better games.

This is Boyle's first home loss since February 18th, 2014 against Wayne County.

NH has great quickness. The young guards from Boyle should gain from this experience. I don't think they will play a team with more speed the rest of the season. It will be a building process, game by game for this team. They have a tough schedule.
