December 9, 201510 yr 30 years of sanctions didn't do very much and heaven knows Congress was asleep at the wheel while India and Pakistan developed their nuclear Arsenal in recent decades. We can't go to war with everybody. We just can't do it. We don't have the money; we don't have the will. The deal ain't perfect but we needed to do something. What was supposed to have been done? The sanctions were having an effect as far back as 2009. There were rumblings of an uprising in Iran, because of the economic hardships the Iranians were facing. Yet, the current occupant of the White House stood by and did nothing and allowed the potential overthrow of the Iranian hardliners go down the drain. As far as the lack of will by the American public, is because the spineless liberals. All they saw was a way to attack Bush when he was in office. They were not interested in a victory in the Middle East, just victory at the ballot box, by denigrating Bush's military efforts.
December 15, 201510 yr Sounds like the start of WWIII. Not hardly. Israel was completely capable of handling it on their own. However once we allow them to build their nuclear program, it becomes a completely different story.
