That is the same rumor I heard and it should be noted that it stemmed from trying to rush back from injuries sustained this season.

That is interesting because I heard Tuberville interviewed before this season and when asked what Kiel needs to do to improve, he said he needed to stay on the field...that was he was hurt too much last season. He basically implied he was soft. Makes you wonder if Kiel was afraid of appearing soft this year.

 

I don't know the story here but I think a coach has to be real careful about calling out a college athlete for not playing through injuries...

 

What you say is true but also I heard Coach T say after his second injury (paraphrasing) "Kiel will not start because it is just not worth it. It is just not worth it at some point."
