Most Likely Candidates for Vice-President? What's in Your Crystal Ball?

Featured Replies

Hillary's a "Schue" in on the Democratic side. Who do you think she will choose as her running mate?

On the Republican side, who do see either Trump, Rubio, Cruz, or Jeb(I'm not counting him out just yet) choosing if one of them is the nominee? Will it be one of the other Presidential hopefuls as second man/woman on the ticket or someone else?

For Hillary:

Julian Castro has to be on her short list .

How about fellow Presidential hopeful, Martin O'Malley?

Uncle Joe Biden for eight more years?

How about General Wesley Clark? He would be an attractive mate for several reasons.

Evan Bayh ? Mark Warner?

Tim Kaine? Martin Heinrich?

Let's get a little crazy with this .....

How about a former Republican governor - Charlie Crist ?

How about a female tandem- Hillary and Wendy Davis?

Let's get super crazy... Would Hillary dare challenge the wording of the Constitution and phrases like" eligible," "constitutionally ineligible," and "electable, " and name hubby, Bubba, to serve as First Man? Ummm .... No, she wouldn't.

As for the GOP , all I can say is that Trump definitely won't be tabbed as a running mate. Also, I think if Rubio doesn't get the nomination , he is a good bet for someone's running mate. If Trump wins, who knows who he would choose to run with?

What do you all think?

I think she is the worst of anyone running on either side. I can't imagine anyone with a conscience even being associated with her much less being her VP running mate.

Hillary will surprise some with her possible choices. Clark would be interesting, but last I knew he wasn't interested.

But on the republican side, the smart bet would be Kasich.

I would like to see Clark. I'd like to see her get him onboard. I think Castro would be interested.

Would he definitely pull Ohio for the GOP?

Would he definitely pull Ohio for the GOP?

He would at least make it interesting, would get the GOP'ers out to the polls. I also thought that Portman may have helped the GOP in 2012 with Ohio.

Not definitely. No. If Trump's the nominee, Pete Rose couldn't pull Ohio for the GOP.

Hillary doubles down on the female vote with a Hillary-Claire McCaskill ticket.

Keep telling yourself that. Latest polls show him beating Hillary head to head and he's the most trusted to combat ISIS, Hillary the least trusted.

He's proved you wrong already. You said he would be done by now if I remember correctly.

His staying power has surprised but I believe the GOP operatives will do everything possible to get rid of him. Don't let those polls showing him beating Hillary fool you. He would get CRUSHED. I forget the word Lindsey graham said but it was worse than crushed.

I think you would be surprised on election day. You would be saying, the new POTUS, Donald Trump.

You can't pay attention to Lindsey Graham, he's a never was as a viable POTUS candidate.

Not a big Trump supporter but with Obama and Hillary's refusal to call Radical Islamic Terrorism just that, they keep elevating Trump. He CRUSHES Hillary on how to handle ISIS in the polls. For that matter, all of the upper tier Repubs destroy her in that poll. Most notably with Independents.
