Better viewing version, starts at :55

 

Jimi Hendrix once said that "Billy Gibbons" was his favorite guitarist... Very under rated player because he is blues based.

 

I would agree with Nuno Bettencourt and add Ty Tabor and Brad Gillis too... Monster players and great guys.

Mark Knopfler is another great guitarist that nobody talks about...

Richard Thompson, if he hasn't been mentioned. Check out his original of "Vincent Black Lightning" for evidence.
