Was 15-7 at half, but the Panthers' Bigbee broke off a long TD run less than a minute into the second half, and the Eagles never got closer than 2 scores after that. Too much speed for Russellville.

 

Tough break for Bethlehem as a couple of their key guys with what was suspected to be food poisoning from the pre-game meal. Affected the worst was standout 2-way lineman William Brown, severely limiting his on-field time. His presence was sorely missed.

 

Great season for the Eagles, getting the region title game for just the second time in Bethlehem history.

On another note, the win was the 500th in school history for Russellville.
