2 Valley HS students arrested, charged with sex crime

LOUISVILLE (WHAS11) – Two Valley High School students were arrested and charged with the distribution of material portraying a sexual performance by a minor.

 

At this point Louisville Metro Police are investigating the details of how this happened. Jefferson County Public School investigators are also trying to get all the details as well.

 

The students are juveniles which means most of the details of the case are confidential.

 

WHAS11 is working to gather more information and will update this story as we get it.

I have no idea what is going on in this case but to everyone in the days where phones take high quality pictures and you send multiple texts or use applications like SnapChat to send pictures to each other you can't send sexual/nude pictures of minors to each other, it is a felony.

 

Anyone have more info on this specific case?

 

And is there a job opening at the school because of it?

Why would there be? It said they arrested students. If there were staff involved, they would almost certainly be named.

This more than likely happens many many times each day at every middle/high school in the country, both male and females alike.

I don't know the answer Jim but if you look at timelines maybe there is just a coincidence or two.

Which is why I added the general part. It is so commonplace (at least like you I assume it is) that many students have no idea the seriousness of it.

You are correct. I heard from a reliable source exactly what happened and could not believe my ears. If you look at the local news you will see vague stories about it I am sure.

Heard the weightroom was unsupervised and there was "activity" between a player and female student. While you can't be everywhere, coach's responsibility to monitor or lock the weightroom.

 

Interesting thing is Preston King was pretty much run off by the new Principal at Valley and he brought this coach with him. Now I'm hearing King resigned at Iroquois to try and go back to Valley. That seems like a weird situation.
