And the losses for Lee could never be replaced. One of the greatest parts of the speech is the way Lincoln tied the two factions back together and offered a new America being birthed by the sacrifice and the struggle.
Jim Schue Posted November 20, 2015 Posted November 20, 2015 I would like to suggest everybody with Confederate sympathies to please understand that the "noble struggle" that some folks like to roll with was a "noble struggle" to keep people enslaved. That is all.
