TexasRanger Posted November 18, 2015 Posted November 18, 2015 Turkish Fans Boo Paris Victims, Chant ?Allahu Akbar? » Infowars Alex Jones' Infowars: There's a war on for your mind! Not all of these booing are card carring ISIS members. But I'm guessing 99% are Muslim. This is sick and disgusting. If my link does not work, could a mod help me out?
Twotoplace Posted November 18, 2015 Posted November 18, 2015 Turkish fans were not voicing support for ISIS by booing during the minute of silence. It was a protest against double standards, i.e., why no minute of silence for innocent Turks who recently were victims of violence? Link below offers a reasoned explanation, as opposed to the Infowars propaganda site. Turkey fans boo minute's silence for Paris victims - but it was not a mark of disrespect, claim commentators on social media | Europe | News | The Independent

I had heard this on the morning news so I thought there might be some truth to it. I'm not a propaganda site reader, but thought it was a legit story.
Jesse James Posted November 18, 2015 Posted November 18, 2015 I have no idea why this is a surprise......I have been saying all along if anybody will read the Quran and see what it says, not what some will lead you to believe then it becomes crystal clear. The Quran's Verses of Violence There is no defense for this....
Twotoplace Posted November 18, 2015 Posted November 18, 2015 Thank you for the link. I had heard this on the morning news so I thought there might be some truth to it. I'm not a propaganda site reader, but thought it was a legit story. I figured the Infowars version was highly suspect, given that ISIS has stepped up terrorism in Turkey, and that Turkey is a more secular society than most of its neighbors to the south. A little googling confirmed my suspicions. Thank you.

Did they or did they not boo during the moment of silence ? We had moments of silence in every sporting event in America this past weekend. Can't think of one crowd that booed. We also have had our own violent acts on our own soil. No way fo I buy your spin , what they did was disrespectful.

There was booing -- or chanting -- during the moment of silence, as the video shows, but said outward disrespect was not meant as a show of support for ISIS. Rather, it was to protest the fact that the world was showing much respect for the victims of the Paris tragedy, while such was not accorded to the 100-plus victims of the Ankara bombings on Oct. 10.
jericho Posted November 18, 2015 Posted November 18, 2015 SPIN SPIN SPIN All the media is good for. By the way a Boo is a Boo. If they had a moment of silence for Muslims who were killed and I screamed out Praise God or Thank God after I boooooed, Im sure it would be looked down upon. Not everything by Info wars is incorrect, just as everything by MSNBC or CNN isnt correct.

I know what your saying . I just don't buy that the feelings mntref posted didn't play a large part either.
