They still have Hurricane Belcher with the post appearance of Abrahm crozier. They have also added Doug Lambert to play the SF position and Jeremy Mudd handling the point. Bishma Desai will also play SF and PF and he is a decent player. Kyle Feebeck and Richard Harden the 2 juniors are great shooters....How do you think they will do next year?

I am also expecting the Wildcats to suprise some people this upcoming season. Although their overall summer record was not good(10-17), I believe they played some above average competition. They traveled to three different team camps and played teams from KY, TN and OH.

 

Inexperience will definitely be their biggest weakness this year. They basically return 1 1/2 players from last year's team. The 1 being Kane Belcher and the 1/2 being Jeremy Mudd, who spent time as a JV starter and a Varsity role player with limited minutes last season.

 

Schedule wise the young Cats play their normal 10th region schedule with games against Mason Co., GRC, Brossart, Bourbon Co., Montgomery Co., Harrison Co., and Scott all at home. The toughest part of the schedule is the first half. It includes 9th region road games at Holmes, Conner, Dixie, NCC(I think) and not to mention a trip to Lexington for the prestigious 5/3 Classic.

 

I believe their record will be over .500 and if you look at the 38th District you have PC, Harrison Co., Deming and Nicholas Co. In that field, IMO the odds are with Pendleton. If you look at the Region, you have two dominant teams returning, Mason Co. and GRC, and besides those two it's very open. However, if I did pick a preseason #3 team it would Bishop Brossart because of what they return. It all depends on who is playing the best basketball in late February and early March. Could be anybody........

From what I'm hearing from someone that has never gave me inaccurate information and is still real close to the program, it looks like Biggs did apply for the Bourbon job and is the favorite of the school board at Bourbon Co so far, but again it's nothing official, and alot could happen....

That would make 3 of the top coaches in the 10th in the same district.:eek:

My sources tell me, that they talked to Biggs directly, and he said he did not apply and was not interested in the Bourbon job.
