Purple Nation Posted November 14, 2015 Posted November 14, 2015 (edited) Uneventful game. Moments of bright spots for Purples. Guessing Caruthers had 150 yards or so. QB, Payne played fairly well. Threw two or three absolutely beautiful ball. Further season goes on the more I think Trey Fant could be best on team. CC would not throw it to his side of field. Coach Wallace puts him on offense and he goes for a score and maybe 100 yards. Anytime he touches ball (offense or defense) something good happens. No Purples fans really even want to talk about this game. Everyone (since beginning of season) has had next Friday night circled on calendar. Owensboro, here we come. Should be a classic. DragonFire Posted November 14, 2015 Posted November 14, 2015 He's awesome, and so fast. But he's deceptively fast because of his long stride. He just sort of glides up the field, and you almost don't realize how much faster he is than those around him because he doesn't have his legs going a mile a minute.
