Bethlehem got some key wins to earn the number 1 seed in their district. Crittenden County has struggled against the tougher opponents on their schedule. This is one of the most interesting matchups in round 2 in class 1A. Can Crittenden County get an upset win? Is Bethlehem another strong opponent that Crittenden County is not quite good enough to beat? What ar the key matchups and game plans in this game?

What kind of depth along the line does Crittenden Co. have? This is a strength area for Bethlehem, and their defense has been better than expected this season. They can be hurt by speedy teams.

I wonder if Bethlehem's 1st round upset win at Crittenden Co. from 2010 has come up in the Rockets' coaches meetings?

The rockets do have some speed... not 4.6 or anything but very quick 4.7-4.8 guys...dont know much about Bethlehem... how do they handle no huddle getting plays off with in 5-10 secs of the play clock... the rockets can go quick and this gave Russellville some problems with cramps in the second half... The rockets kinda lost their way after the loss to russellville...went to Ballard Memorial and laid an egg in the second half... got the swagger back in round one..got back to having fun... 14 seniors do NOT want this to be their last game.. they want a shot at russellville again.. so we will see friday night.. see how they handle the long bus ride to Bardstown

This could be a very interesting game then, because Bethlehem does the same thing. They also run a modified version of the Franklin system.

Looking at both teams schedule I think Crittenden has had the tougher schedule of the two teams and just one more loss. I'm not sure how many believe Bethlehem will win, but I'm taking the Rockets to roll on to Russellville.

Rule 10

I remember picking Bethlehem in 2010 and telling my Crittenden Co friend that Bethlehem would pull the upset.

I think the Rockets turn the tables on them this yr.

When looking at the schedules Bethlehem combined opponents record is 45-71, while CC combined record is 40-68. Bethlehem stepped up in class twice going 1-1 and those opponents combined record was 7-14. CC stepped up in class 7X going 4-3. However all 4 teams they beat had losing records, and even had a loss to 5-6 Ballard Memorial. Common opponents in all this is Fulton Co, and Caverna. Bethlehem beat FC 69-6 and Caverna 41-6, CC beat FC 50-6 and Caverna 42-16. So with that said I feel this game will be back and forth and the difference could be home field. Good luck to both teams

If computer ratings mean anything, Litkenhous has Bethlehem by about 10 and Cantrall has the Eagles by about 14. Not sure what the home field allowance is on top of that.
