I would agree with that. Also, your student cheer section is legit. They had our roster and were talking trash to our non-starters and hurling insults at our coach. Nothing bad, just great support and razzing us a lot. I thought it was awesome.

Brossart was missing about half of the senior class in the student section due a senior retreat. The fans really came out and supported Brossart all year!

Just watched that game online. Great game, loved watching both teams in the 2nd half. Raceland's RB looked like he was 5'8 170 lbs but ran like Jerome Bettis. Brossart looked good in the 2nd half. Say what you want about Brossart's schedule but that team was legit

That Raceland RB was K. Snyder and yes, he is a bull running the ball, he went over the 1,000 yd. mark for the season in that game.

Yes, Brossart was definitely legit, I believe in playing as though of a out of district schedule as you can to prepare your team for the post season. Having said that and not being close with the Brossart problem I would say that the people that made out their schedule knew exactly what they were doing. Brossart proved that they can compete with practically anyone in 1A and imo are better than a lot of them. The Mustangs were well prepared, well coached and trust me, will be a factor in 1A in the future. They had a great fan base, the Brossart players, coaches and fans were class and imo when a program is building like that then they will no doubt succeed.

I just stole this from a friends facebook page.

It's been one heck of a journey this season. Sadly it has come to an end.

But one thing can be said for sure. It may have ended but this season will not be forgotten anytime soon.

Let's recap on the season.

We beat Dayton for the first time in 4 years to start the season.

We then beat an Ohio team that ended their season 6-4.

Returned the next week to achieve the schools first ever win against Bellevue.

Continued on to start the best ever start to a season Bishop Brossart High School has ever had at 7-0.

Then achieved district runner up, hosting the first ever Brossart home playoff game.

The Mustangs concreted history with a 9-1 record never before been achieved.

The team garnered more press attention for their on the field work as well as off the field work than ever before.

Hopefully changed the life of a little boy who is an inspiration to us all. #winforwes

And received an award for the most sportsmanlike team from the NKOA.

Many things can be said about this team but no amount of praise can be given that will amount to what the young men did this season. This was a storybook season and one that will be stuck in history forever.

Thank you to all the fans, family, friends, and community members who stuck with us this season. We appreciate all you do.
